Asbestos Project Designer

3 day course is designed for those individuals who develop written project designs for asbestos abatement projects. Course topics include applicable asbestos regulations, health effects associated with asbestos exposure, personal protective equipment, work practices associated with asbestos disturbance, respiratory protection program, medical surveillance, and supervisor/contractor case studies. This course meets EPA AHERA requirements for an Asbestos Project Designer.

Lead Awareness

2 hour course is designed to teach workers how to work with lead safely and how to use appropriate hygiene practices and personal protective equipment to protect themselves and their families. It also introduces them to the OSHA lead in construction standard and describes their rights and responsibilities under that standard.

Lead Supervisor

4 day course for persons supervising lead-based paint abatements in target housing and child-occupied facilities. In addition, persons seeking to become a lead-based paint abatement contractor must either be accredited as a supervisor or employ such a supervisor. This course is designed to meet the training requirements for U.S. EPA accreditation (40 CFR 745 Subpart L) and for U.S. HUD certification (24 CFR 35).

Mold Awareness

8 hour course in the recognition and remediation of all commonly found molds.

First Aid / CPR

5 hour course designed for certification in American Red Cross First Aid, participants will gain knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illness until advanced medical personnel take over.
